Tilo Schmalz is New Chief Financial Officer of Onventis
New CFO position appointment at the fast-growing source-to-pay provider
Stuttgart, November 30, 2023 – Tilo Schmalz is the new CFO responsible for Onventis’s finances. With his expertise as an investor and over a decade of experience in the IT industry, Schmalz will help drive the company’s expansion forward.
The financial expert was most recently CFO of the PROCAD Group, a B2B software manufacturer for platform solutions in product/document lifecycle management and Configure, Price, Quote, where he was responsible for several post-merger integrations, among other things. Previously, Tilo Schmalz managed a broad portfolio of investments from start-ups to buy-outs with a turnover in the three-digit million euro range at the investment and venture capital firm LEA Partners until 2021. As part of the next growth phase, the focus will be on the internationalization of financial processes and systems and the further development of the group’s overall financial strategy and orientation.
As a new member of the firm’s management board, responsible for financial matters, I will play an active role in shaping the growth of the SaaS business model for global mid-size enterprises. I look forward to becoming part of the Onventis success story and helping shape it.
